Former co-host of NEWS Talk 970AM in Florence, SC I was the first African American as well as the first liberal to be on the air at this station. Finally someone to challenge and engage the one sided views of the South. The constant echoes of a loud ignorant few could not handle a strong liberal voice from the North, so There were those who felt if they don’t agree with my views or opinions, I should be censored. You would think the media would think censorship would be news worthy, but a wink and a nod is all it takes. I realized something that I think I have always known. For me to acknowledge some one as my superior they must have a backbone and stand strong when challenged, as I do. I’ve also realized that whether I’m a host or co-host the person sitting opposite of me needs to have a personality and strong self esteem so that I don’t have to worry about a knife in my back.I decided to start Dmonarchy for the simple reason it's time. I feel every person, group, organization, whether in sports, politics, black, white, rich, or poor can be praised or criticized. I also understand whether you’re a Hollywood type, Teacher, Housewife, Businessman or Student. All have a right to speak on issues concerning your country.
